Bath Time

Here are some random cute bath time pics.

This was maybe her third bath since we brought her home.
I love the face that she is making here.

Precious!

This bath was on Wednesday

Sunday Best

When Ava was 3 weeks old we went to church for the first time. It was so great getting to show her off. She looked so pretty in her sunday dress. It was funny because no one at church has ever seen me not pregnant so everyone was commenting on how "small" I was (even though I still have a ways to go before I reach my pre-pregnancy weight).

Cutie in her dress!

Pastor George helping with Ava as we got to church.

Family Pic on our first Sunday

It is weird having a baby and going to church without David (because he is already there). It is also weird to sit in the service without him. But it will be fun when Ava reaches 2 months because then I will start to take her into the youth service as well as the "big house" and to tell her "that's Daddy preaching". We love the community that we are apart of at LifePoint and feel so blessed to be at this church.

Family Time

And then there were three. We enjoy having a little girl to love on and take care of. Here are some pictures of our life since Ava has arrived.

Ava at one week old. She has already grown up so much and she is only 6 weeks!

This face cracks me up!

David doing house work and he was unable to find his normal headphones... so he settled for these.

She is not so sure what she thinks of the bouncer

"No more pictures!"

Being Silly!

It works for grown ups too!

Daddy hard at work getting those burps. Ava does not burp very well!

We played dress up one day and I love these pictures of her in this dress I wore as a baby.

Beautiful

Another outfit that I wore as a baby. I think its neat dressing her in clothes that I wore as a baby.

Nana

Nana has been to Plano quite a bit since Ava has been born. :) We were so blessed to have her come stay with us for a week and she has come down here and there since then to help out and spend time with us.

I love the faces that she made in these pictures as Nana held her. Too cute!

Blurry but adorable

So serious

Our First Family Outing

After 3 weeks of not leaving the house I was going stir crazy. So on David's day off we went to Starbucks and walked around the mall. It was so nice to get out of the house as a family.

Feeling like a person again! :)

Too Funny! This picture is not posed, she did it herself.

So pretty
When we got to the mall we had an incident. She started crying because she was hungry in the middle of JC Penny and so I nursed for my first time in a public place. And as I was nursing I felt something warm on my leg, and I realized that she had a blow out diaper and it was everywhere! This was a traumatic incident, but it gave me confidence as I took her to church on Sunday. Overall it was a very fun outing.

Photo Shoot

Lauren got a new camera for her birthday and Christmas. We reaped the benefits of this because Lauren brought the kiddos over and took some pictures of Ava for us. It was so fun to see them and we got some awesome pictures! I am so thankful that she came and took these pictures for us. Here are some of my favorites.

Breathtaking

Classic Ava with her hand underneath her chin

Little feetsies

I love this expression

The Butterfly

We received as a gift a mat shaped as a butterfly. We have enjoyed placing Ava on this butterfly and playing with her. Here are some pictures of us playing on the mat.

5 days old

I love these jammies on her. They have an adorable frilly butt!
