7 Months

On the 26th we were on vacation so we did not get her 7 month photos until we got home.

We tried the day after we got back from Port Aransas to get pictures and she did not cooperate. She did not want to sit still and she would not give any smiles. This picture is the best one we got all day. In the rest of the pictures she was moving and fussing because she wanted to explore.

Sweet expression.

I LOVE this smile!

As David calls it "The Ava Cannon"

Daddy carrying Ava back for the mat pic. She looks scared but she was actually having a great time! She was squealing in delight!

She has grown so much!!!

Ava has grown so much in her 6th month of life. She has become a professional crawler! She also has begun to pull up and cruise. She now will sit like a big girl. She is still our easy going little girly. She has also began to nap better!!!!!!!!!!!! She usually will nap about 1-1 1/2 hrs. It is so refreshing to have a little bit of time to be able to get things done and to have a little me time. :) Ava's favorite activity is crawling around and exploring the world. She always gets into the things that we want her to avoid (for example power cords, shoes, or leaves that Buddy drags in). We have to keep an eye on this girly! She is very ticklish and she enjoys when Daddy makes faces and giggles with her. Every day with Ava is a wonderful adventure!

Vacation

Memorial Day weekend we went on vacation with some friends to Port Aransas. It's funny when you vacation with your child you come back from vacation feeling no more rested than you did prior to the vacation. Ava usually does not sleep well when we are not at home. So, I was thankful that she slept relatively well during the trip. Until the last night when she was up countless times that night. But it could have been worse... :)

Beach Babe!!!

Ava makes this face a lot recently. She especially makes it when she is talking.

Headed to the beach.

One pretty girl!

This is supposed to be a clown.
I didn't really see that until someone pointed it out to me.

We visited a old fashioned candy store on the second night that we were there and they had these fun cut outs to take pictures in.

Ava sporting one a very large hat! Gotta love it!

I realized that we hadn't taken many pictures this trip so we made up for it our last day at the beach!

Our friends were more prepared for the sand situation. They were genius and brought a couple of sheets to lay down on the sand so Ava could crawl around.

Little girl and her Daddy. So sweet!

Ava took really good naps on the beach! Not sure if it was the sound of the ocean or if all the activity just wore her out. Maybe it was both.

Getting sno cones. Yummy Yummy!

Beauty!

Group pic before we all go our separate ways.

Ava tolerated the car ride home really well. I was so proud of my easy going girl! We even had lots of giggles! We had a blast on vacation but it was good to get back home!

Ava's Dedication

This Sunday was a very special Sunday to our family. Not only was it my first mother's day but Ava was dedicated at church. Mine and David's prayer is that Ava will grow to be a woman that seeks to know, love and worship her Heavenly Father.

All dressed up!

Love, Love, Love this smile!

Ava's 2 proud Grandmothers!

Ava being dedicated.

After the service the family came back to our house and we had lunch and visited.

Pool Partay!

Yesterday after church we went to a friends house had dinner and swam. It was Ava's first time to ever swim and she had a blast!

One cute Strawberry!

Ava getting used to the water.

Kim and Ty had a baby float and so we put Ava in the float and she had so much fun. We spun her around the pool and she would just giggle. So cute.

This is the life!

Our first pool experience was a success. She has fun trying to bounce while in the pool and she would splash the water and look confused when the water hit her in the face. It was so cute.

Rubber Ducky

Recently we have moved Ava from bathing in her old pink tub to the rubber ducky. She enjoys it because there is room for her to play with toys in this tub.

Such surprise.

I love this face. This is her concentration face.

As you can tell by the pictures she really enjoys bath time in her ducky.
